It doesn’t really matter how many miles you intend to ride this year - if you have a bike, or just love biking, you can join the #ride5000miles Facebook group. Over 10,000 bikers have joined the group since it launched, helping it become a real community – one that our members tell us is the friendliest biker group on the web. The Facebook group is a place to share your pictures, stories, routes, tips and encouragement plus there’s also a monthly email newsletter with exclusive offers, competitions and routes inspiring you to ride 5000 miles this biking season.
Our research shows that the average rider does about 3000 miles a year, but having a target that pushes past that distance helps enrich your biking life. At the very least, riding more will make you more at-one with your machine, but if you use the target to spend more time with your biking mates, or head out on a trip you’ve always fancied, it’ll improve your life, too.

Print magazine subscriptions will either start with the next available issue or the issue you selected at the checkout. Although we will do our utmost to ensure that your magazine is delivered at the same time it is available in the shops (or sooner) it is possible on some occasions it may be unavoidably delayed. If this is the case, we would ask that you please allow an extra 5 days for delivery before contacting us. Delivery of print magazines to subscribers outside of the UK takes up to 15 working days (excludes weekends and Public Holidays).
For a digital subscriptions, as soon as your subscription has been confirmed by an confirmation email, you will be able to access the latest issue. From that point onwards, you will receive all future issues as long as your subscription remains active. Please note that you will not be able to access any of the issues that came out prior to the start of your subscription.
Outside of the UK - Speed of delivery to subscribers outside the UK obviously depends on the quality of service provided by the various organizations along the way. The following airmail delivery times should be calculated from the date the magazine is published and are approximate: Delivery of print magazines to subscribers outside of the UK takes up to 15 working days (excludes weekends and Public Holidays)
If you purchase a subscription which has a gift included, please allow up to 28 days for delivery of the gift, which is sent under separate cover from the magazine. If you bought the subscription as a gift for someone else, any gifts will be delivered to you, the purchaser. We are currently unable to send gifts direct to the magazine recipient.
Yes, if you have the email address of the recipient, we can send an e-card at the time of purchase or on a date of your choice. Please note that if your gift subscription comes with a welcome gift, the welcome gift will be sent to you to give to the recipient or to keep for yourself.
When you place your order, you will be able to choose the start issue of your subscription and the expected delivery date will be shown.
If you paid for your subscription as a one-off payment by using either your credit/debit card, PayPal or cheque we will send you a reminder before the end of your subscription. Whether you are taking a subscription out for yourself or as a gift, nothing will be sent to the recipient unless the subscription expires.

Please note if you pay by a recurring payment method such as Direct Debit, continuous credit card or recurring PayPal you do not need to renew your subscription as your contract will continue until you cancel it with ourselves and your bank.
